Tournament Note

Coaches, Families, and Players-

Thanks for joining us for the "THE" STATE TOURNAMENT hosted in the Des Moines Metro. We are excited to welcome your team, and we are looking forward to a great weekend of basketball! We are excited to see many great games.

Games will be played February 11-12, 2023.

The schedule was POSTED @ 3:57PM on February 6th, 2023. Coaches were also emailed at this time.

Any changes made to the schedule throughout the week will be emailed to the team/coach it affects.

Coaches will be notified if the Schedule is updated at any point between now and the event. The schedule will NOT change unless there was a mistake made by the event directors or something unforeseen were to happen.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME BRACKETS START ON SATURDAY NIGHT AS WE WERE WANTING TO GET DONE WITH GAMES EARLIER ON SUNDAY FOR THE SUPER BOWL.

Doors will open @ 7:30am on Saturday as games start @ 8:00am.
Doors will open @ 7:30am on Sunday as games begin @ 8:00am.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP EARLIER AND PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW THIS.

Please share all of the following information with your parents/players before the start of the weekend. This is vital that the following information is shared to parents/players before arrival.

-Please understand that it is your responsibility to check back frequently for schedule changes.
-Coaches will be notified by email when changes occur.
-There will be no wall schedules/brackets for this event. Please use the "Tourney Machine App" to follow results, standings, and game times.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
-Spectators are welcome to attend.
-If you don't feel well please stay home.

Entering the facility:
- Entry lines may be longer than normal. Your Patience is appreciated.
- There will be 2 coaches passes per team.
- Home Team MUST provide a volunteer at the scores table for each game.
- There will NOT be any passes for scorekeepers.
- Home Team is listed 1st in Pool Play and on top of the bracket. They will wear light colored jersey.

Admission is charged for spectators: (DAILY ADMISSION ONLY)
ADULT - $10
K-12 CHILD - $5
5 YEARS OLD AND UNDER - FREE

Home Team:
1st team listed on schedule. They will wear light colored jersey.

Game Ball:
Provided by the HOME TEAM.

Warm Up Basketballs:
No warmup basketballs will be provided. Teams must supply their own.
