13th Annual 2020 VH Silverstar WOOD BAT Tournament (5/28/20 - 5/31/20)

Come to Vernon Hills to play at one of the best baseball facilities in the Midwest. Each age will play either bracket or division play with a three game guarantee. We are limiting the number of teams at each age group to 8/12 total teams including teams from the Vernon Hills travel program. In order for registrations to be considered complete payment must be turned in within 7 days of registration. Registrations and payment will be processed based on the order in which online registrations are completed. If we receive more interest than the 8/12 spots available at a particular age group we will start a wait list. NOTE: This tournament is open to community based B travel programs or towns sharing the same high school. No recruited teams, or all-area teams accepted. The Vernon Hills B Bash provides the best competitive B level play to area towns and border states that run community-based programs. Guaranteed 3 games
- Individual Trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams ( max 13)
- The fields have dugouts, (most) grass infields, scoreboards and lights.
- Certified umpires officiate each game.
- Running water (clean) bathrooms, and full concessions.
- Tournament game schedule posted no later than 4 days before Start of the tournament.
- Please bring copies of birth certificates for your roster. They will be reviewed at team check-in. Upon request, teams must prove they are a community program or they will not be allowed to advance to the playoffs.
- Coaches must check in 45 minutes prior to first game.
- No charge for admission. Spectators will not be allowed to sit directly behind backstops.
- All games will be played at the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex.
- A coin toss will be used to determine the home and visiting team for pool play games. For elimination games the higher seed will be the home team.
- The home team must provide a scoreboard operator.
- Tournament Central will be located at the concession stand.
- Updated tournament results will be displayed online and a weather hot line phone number will be provided as we get closer to the start date.
- All tournament correspondence will be done via Tourney Machine app. Please instruct parents to download the tourney machine app.
- Trophy Presentation will take place after the championship game on the game field at VHAC.
- There will be daily concessions available: Concessions will include hotdogs, hamburgers/cheeseburgers drinks and snacks and much more. No outside food and coolers are allowed in the complex.

Refund Policy for Inclement Weather :
If tourney is canceled due to weather before any of the games have been played, then a FULL refund will be issued.
However, once the tournament has started no refunds will be issued if games are cancelled for any reason.



Note: If any team withdraws after registration has been confirmed and payment has been made no refund will be given.
