Due to Hurricane Nate, we have made the decision to cancel all games scheduled for Oct 8th in Calera/Chelsea/Alabaster/Pelham/Helena/Hoover/Oak Mountain/Montevallo.? We do not want to put anyone in danger and getting stranded at the ballpark or getting on the roads to return home in poor weather and high winds.? I have been in communication via text with local weather contacts and they are telling me the rain will be heavy but the winds even worse.? We do not want to put families in harms way and are siding with caution.?

I am changing the tournament next week to the Central Alabama State Tournament.? We already have 51 teams that have been entered in the tournament.? I have contacted Park Directors and I am adding more fields to next week such as Chelsea Sports Complex Fields 1-3, Calera Eagle Fields 1-5, and Hoover East Fields 1-3.? I did not have those fields initially but the parks have agreed to let us play on those fields next weekend in addition to originally scheduled fields at Pelham Park, Alabaster Veterans Park and Helena Sports Complex.? I am working on more High School fields but those may be limited and I will communicate with all teams playing 6090.

If it says the tournament is FULL, PLEASE get on the WAIT LIST and I will pull teams in giving priority to teams who were scheduled to play Oct 8th.? I am aware that some teams have registered with other organizations and I respect that.? If you have paid online for this tournament, I can move your fee to another tournament or refund you.? If you want to play Oct 15th, please register now and/or get on wait list.? This is going to be the most efficient way to get you in the tournament.? You can also email me by Sunday at Noon if you want to play. (PLEASE include your TEAM NAME and AGE DIVISION in the email) We will do our best to get everyone in the tournament and a place to play. We appreciate your understanding.?
